My Story
A few years back I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), SIBO (small intestine bacteria overgrowth) and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and unfortunately the conventional medicine couldn’t help, but control the symptoms.
As I wanted to find a better way to get my health in a better shape, I was introduced to functional medicine that helped me heal my body, understand how it works and take care of it through diet and lifestyle.
Since then I became fascinated by the functional medicine approach and how it looks at the whole person and looks for the root cause of a disease so that became my passion: to share my knowledge and my story with others in order to improve their lives.
That is when my health coach journey started and at the end of 2018 I became a Certified Health Coach by the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.
After two years since my diagnosis I got pregnant. Although I took great care of myself mentally, physically and nourished my body with the best foods, at 10 weeks I was diagnosed with Subchorionic Hematoma. I was unfortunate that it got worse with time and at 23 weeks I went in premature labor.
My journey to a healthy recovery came earlier than expected but I sincerely believe that if it wasn’t for the food, movement, self-care and love it would’ve been much harder.
After 9 months of intensive work on optimizing my fertility, I was able to conceive my second daughter Margot. My pregnancy with herbs perfect, uneventful and I was able to birth her the way I always wanted - unmedicated at a birth center.
I truly believe that every experience we have in our lives are meant to teach us a lesson. From my own health obstacles and them pregnancy I gained the knowledge and discovered my passion - to help pregnant women and moms-to-be, with the ultimate goal to educate them on optimal ways to positively impact the pregnancy, motivate and inspire lasting lifestyle changes in for their health and the health of their babies.
My knowledge and experience allows me to empower women of all ages with ideal solutions that help them get pregnant, have a healthy pregnancy.
